the muse. frida is the heart behind every silhouette we cut. the brand—FRii (pronounced “free”)—is a play on her name and a constant reminder of our philosophy: pieces free from itchy synthetics, free from restrictive fits, and designed for kids to feel free to play and grow at their own pace.
the why. when my first daughter, frida, was born, i spent her first year searching for a balance that felt impossible to find: non-toxic, 100% natural fabrics that were gentle on her sensitive skin, but with a fun aesthetic that matched our life in brooklyn.
i couldn't find it. so, i decided to create it.
the signature oversized fit. kids grow fast, but their clothes shouldn't have to be replaced every month. our signature oversized fit is intentional. we design with extra room, dropped shoulders, and relaxed waistbands so that our pieces can be worn, loved, and lived-in for 2–3 seasons.

designed in nyc. made in korea. we are a small, mother-led studio based in bed-stuy. our pieces are designed here in brooklyn, inspired by the rhythm of the city—from quiet mornings on the stoop to afternoons at the park.
to bring these designs to life, we partnered with small-batch manufacturers in korea. renowned for their mastery of natural fibers and world-class textiles, they help us create the signature textures—from our structured heavy-weight cottons to our deep brown velours—that define the FRii collection.
